I was finishing up my after effects video tonight and ran across this tutorial video. The actual tutorial is nothing revolutionary BUT if you watch it at the beginning he shows a way to hear sound without doing a RAM preview! It isn't like it sounds in the RAM preview but it helps so much! just press command as you are scrolling over the section as you have the audio selected.
