I enjoyed reading this, it made things very clear...kinda wish I had read it last semester, would have saved me some revisions. The three that I feel will help me the most, or that I need to keep in mind are...
#2- Communicate Don't Decorate. It said to support the concept. Extra decorations will take away from the concept and it shows the designer as ignorant and incapable of designing without decorations
.

#6-Negative Space is Magical, Create it! It made the points that it is not just space to be filled it is used to call attention to content. It separates and gives a resting place to text or objects. When it goes undesigned, it feels dead and odd
.

#11- Be Universal: Remember it's not About You. (harsh title but I get it) As designers we may be designing for a large audience. People need to know the concept and make a relation. There is an agenda
.

some other good ones to note were:
#14-Do it on Purpose or don't do it at all.
#16- Create images, don't scavenge
#18- Move It! Static=Dull
The three I would ignore are:
#17-Ignore Fasion, Seriously- I think it should definitely be ignored for some projects but for others I think it could be beneficial to go with it.
honestly, I don't want to ignore any. Can I say that? if I had to pick two more I don't think are as vital they would be....#12-Squish and Separate and #13- Distribute Light like a firecracker and a rising sun. They are still good to keep in mind but they are not the highest on my list.
