train of thought

I finally got internet back at my house. I never realized how much it is used daily, even by the minute. For all our homework I had to go somewhere and find internet so I could blog or look up homework from blackboard. Even the small questions in my head like "what is the weather?" "What is this business' number?". My instinct every time was to go to the internet and type it in and like magic, my answer! This constant need to know everything the second we want to know it is what lead the world to the Iphone. People couldn't even walk or drive without the internet. What happened! I am completely guilty of the iphone and it has helped me countless times with immediate information. I fear the next invention to convenience us. It is like "metropolis", we watched it today in Design History, man vs machine. Now it's man vs technology. As designers I feel we are into the "new" look, the "new" thing we are the people who will be presenting new revolutionary technology and innovations to the world.
